Workshop - Equity participation in spin-offs common pitfalls and best practices

Target audience

Professionals working at universities TTOs who are negotiating, implementing licensing deals with start-ups and professionals who are involved in the management of the equity position of the universities in start-ups.

Speaker

Juliette Ancelle
Juliette has a Bachelor in Laws from the University of Lausanne and attended the University of Montreal. She also graduated from the New York University school of law, where she obtained an LL.M. in 2009 and where she was admitted to the New York bar. She is specialized among others in the fields of intellectual property and advanced technologies. She is involved in corporate transactions, acquisitions or financing rounds, and has a solid experience in employment law cases.

Moderator

Françoise Chardonnens
After graduating at the Law School of University of Fribourg, Francoise worked as a corporate lawyer for a manufacturing company, then for an audit and law firm before joining the Technology Transfer Office of EPFL. Her main fields of expertise are in intellectual property, commercial and contract law and matters.
